Horton and Ella McPherson Horton; his wife Ruby Jordan Horton; his siblings, Richard Horton (Dorothy), Hazel Horton (Laverne), Emmett Horton (Verdia), Sadie Delvecchio (Nick), Ernestine Jowers (Wylie), Bobby Horton, Chester Horton and Nola Margaret Horton; his daughter-in-law Angela Byrd Horton; and his brother-in-law Cecil Bradley.

He is survived by : his children, Robert Horton (Delphania) of McBee, SC, Deborah Morris (Wayne) of Cassatt, SC, Wanda Deese of Rock Hill, SC and Marilyn Clark (Steve) of Jefferson, SC; his grandchildren, Daniel Morris (Katie), Lisa Frye (Hunter), Jamie Duston (Adam), Brittany Clark, Amanda Bursch (Skyler), Brooke Clark and Jacob Horton; and his sisters, Martha Bradley of Bethune, SC and Bemice Sue Holley (Kay) of Jefferson, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
