She was predeceased by : her parents, William "Bill" Gardner and Livey Hancock Gardner Sexton; her husband Reece Perdue; her children, Billy Perdue and Barbara "Cubbie" Tucker; her daughter-in-law Diane Perdue; her granddaughter Megan Perdue; and her brothers, William F. Gardner and Calvin Gardner.

She is survived by : her daughter Shannon T. Griggs of Patrick, SC; and her great grandchildren, Torrie Griggs of Darlington, SC, Stormy Singletary of Patrick, SC, Luke, Destiny, Serenity and Trinity Griggs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
