He was predeceased by: his wife Willa Snow Jones Ward; his parents, Troy Eugene Ward and Mellissa Margaret Prosser Ward; his grandsons, Matthew McCutcheon and Brandon Ward; his siblings, Gary O. Ward, Millard D. Ward, Ernest Ward, Johnsie Rollo and Josephine Matthews; and his son-in-law Andy McCutcheon.
He is survived by: his children, Rose Marie Stone (Luther) of Lake City, Marlo McCutcheon of Coward, Mitchell Ward (Patrice) of Murrells Inlet, Ricky Ward (Amanda) of Scranton, Melissa Altman (Terry) of Lake City and Larry Cooper (Connie) of Florence. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
