She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James A. Owens; her parents, Elder Albert and Evelyn S. McCray; her brother James; her siblings-in-law, Dorthine McCray, Willie Joe McKnight, George McCullough and Deacon Elliott Franklin; her children, Cortez Sr. Owens (Rebecca) of Kingstree, SC, Evelyn T. Owens of Kingstree, SC and Tasha Owens of Kenly, NC; her grandchildren, Cortez Owens, Jr. of Kingstree, SC and Diamond Harvin of Manning, SC.; and her siblings, Albert McCray (Helen) of Kingstree, SC, Etheleen McKnight of Kingstree, SC, Debra Franklin of Kingstree, SC and Gearldean McCullough of Goldsboro, NC. She was also cherished by uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
