He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Mixon and Nettie Stacks Mixon; and his son Barry Grover Mixon. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Wilder; his children, Bryan (Tina) and Elizabeth Williams (Lyle); his grandchildren, Tyler, Colyn, Caleb, Grace and Camlin; and his brother Robert Vander Mixon. He is also survived by cousins, and other family and friends.
