It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Cantley of Kingstree, South Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamilton Clyde and Mildred Walters Cantley; his son Timothy Laverne Cantley; his grandson Justin Williams; and his brother Keith Cantley.
He is survived by: his wife Flora Player Cantley; his children, Lisa Mobley (Ricky), Hamilton Laverne "Bubba" Cantley, Jr. (Jodie) and Richard "Richie" Cantley (Casey Hanniford); his grandchildren, Brandon Cantley, Amber Thompkins (Greg), Hannah Cantley, Madison Cantley, Hadley Cantley, Michael Johnson and Christopher Fulton (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Lynnlee Grace Thompkins and Summer Grace Fulton; his brother Hilbert Cantley (Betsy); and his close friend Julie Cantley.
