He is survived by: his wife Jannie Myers; his children, Carrie Lee Brown of Kingstree, SC, Evangelist Diane Brown (Nathaniel) of Kingstree, SC, Vernia Brockington (Charles) of Kingstree, SC, Dewyane Conyers (Nadine) of Kingstree, SC and Kimberly Williams (Terry) of Eastover, SC; his sisters, Sarah Shephard of Kingstree, SC and Rachel Welch of Columbia, SC; his daughter-in-law Bertricia Conyers of Hollywood, FL; and his sisters-in-law, Daisy Scotland of Camden, NJ, Mattie Clark of Camden, NJ, Nellie Newell (Walter) of Kingstree, SC and Mary Conyers of Kingstree, SC. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.
