He was predeceased by: his parents, Pickens Wilson Sr. and Ruth Burrows Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Lee Wilson; his children, Ron Grayson (Dawna) of Philadelphia, Markaan Smith (Monikue) of Atlanta, Ernest Smith of Kingstree, SC., Markiesa Smith of Kingstree, SC. and Danielle Smith of Kingstree, SC.; and his siblings, Geneva Wilson (Aaron) of Englewood, NJ, Pickens Wilson, Jr. (Ruth Ann) of Kingstree, Deloris Henryhand (Clyde) of Kingstree and Katherine Graham (Dexter) of Kingstree. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
