He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Hardee and Ruth Newton Hardee; and his siblings, Lawrence Hardee, Leon Hardee, Elsie Lee Evans and Joan Thompson.

He is survived by : his wife Debbie Parker Hardee; his daughters, Erica Crawford (Levi) of Summerville, Jade Cantey (Neil) of Hebron and Beth Poston (Ricky) of Andrews; his grandchildren, Abram "Abe" Crawford of Summerville, Ella Crawford of Summerville, Kyle Newton (Rachel) of Cades, Madison Cantey of Hebron, Brock Cantey of Heb and Richie Poston (Kateland) of Andrews; and his great grandchildren, Avery Newton, Kylie Newton, Wyatt Newton, Ryleigh Tyler and Buster Poston.
