She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Snowden and Ida Cooper Snowden. She is survived by : her daughters, Davenia El-Kadi (Naseer) of Bradenton and Davet L. McFadden (Toney McDuffie) of Lake View; her grandchildren, LaQueta McFadden, Davis El-Kadi of Palmetto and DeAsia Reaves of Lake View; her great grandchild Yasmine McFadden; her goddaughter Tonya Eaddy of Mount Laurel; her siblings, Nancy Snowden of Decatur, Georgia, Harry Snowden (Ethel Mae) of Columbia and Rev. Rufus Snowden (Mary Ann) of Kingstree; her siblings-in-law, Lillian Wilson (R. F.) of Hemingway, Audrey Burgess of Wilmington and Thurman Burgess (Ayres) of Wilmington; and her close friend Naomi Thompson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
