Joe Lynch Blackwell Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Lynch Blackwell of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Carliss and Ouida Lynch Blackwell; his siblings, Yvonne Blackwell Hughes, Barry Blackwell and Dale Blackwell; and his brother-in-law James "Bud" Loftin.

He is survived by: his wife Margarett Loftin Blackwell; his sons, Dan Steere (Kim) of Atherton, CA and John Steere of Bastrop, TX; and his grandchildren, Brittany Steere Paruta (Ryan), Megan Steere, Walker Steere, Katherine Steere and Andrew Steere. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces.
