He is survived by : his wife Thomasena S. Damon; his children, Edward Spann (Mae) of Lamar, Jackie Spann (Dianne) of Columbia, SC, Lerond Damon (Janet S.) of Effingham, SC, Cleveland Damon of Lamar, SC and Cynthia Petty of Lamar, SC; his brother Purvis George, Jr. of Florence, SC; and his close friend Rosa Lide of Florence, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
