It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Langley (Lancaster, South Carolina), who passed away on April 1, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas James Langley and Lunette Dyson Langley; his spouse Katie Lee Horne Langley; and his sisters, Ruth Lloyd and Betty Rae McManus.
He is survived by: his son Charles Dennis Langley (Susan) of Gaithersburg, MD; his grandchildren, Christopher Benson Langley, Melissa Denise Langley Raines, Allison Covington, Andrew Covington, Charlie Rose-Langley and Cade Rose-Langley; and his sister Peggy Langley of Lancaster. He is also survived by his parents; his wife.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday evening, April 3, 2018 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 140 Stonebridge Drive, Suite 210, Columbia SC 29210 or Hospice Care of South Carolina, 311-B North Main Street, Suite A, Lancaster, SC 29720.
