It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Paul McDevitt (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in Passaic, New Jersey, who passed away on March 24, 2018, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. McDevitt, Jr. and Eleanor Weaver McDevitt; and his brother William McDevitt, III. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his son Glendon "Glen" McDevitt (Genevieve); his grandchildren, Lily of Fort Mill, SC and Ayden of Fort Mill, SC; and his sister Reny Rose of Boise.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, at Burgess Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action, 1500 Rose Crans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
