He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Blackwell and Mary Blackwell; his siblings, Bobby Blackwell and Libby King; and his siblings-in-law, Angie Blackwell, Frank Mahaffey and Roy King.
He is survived by: his wife Lucinda Dawn Blackwell; his children, Kevin Blackwell (Christy) and Amanda Bigham (Jody); his mother-in-law Iris Blackmon; his grandchildren, Casey Bigham, Mac Bigham, Dillon Bigham, Mary Grace Blackwell and Kevin Scott Blackwell, Jr.; his sisters, Wanda Mahaffey, Dot Greene (Kenny) and Silva Greene (Roger); his sister-in-law Carolyn Blackwell; his brothers, James Eugene Blackwell and Darrell Blackwell (Teresa); and his brother-in-law Robert Blackmon (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
