He was predeceased by : his parents, Hubert Boswell and Sarah McCrae Boswell; and his brother Rufus Allen Faulkenberry. He is survived by : his girlfriend Sandra Cope; his children, Larry Boswell of Monroe, Angel Boswell of Lancaster and Elizabeth Boswell of Lancaster; his siblings, Jimmy Boswell of Lancaster, Claude "Red" Faulkenberry of Lancaster and Elizabeth Peach of Lancaster; his granddaughter Ashley Case; and his great grandchild Harrison Grant Case.
