He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph William McConnell Sr. and Arthelia Holler McConnell; and his brother Charles McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Teri McConnell; his children, Jeremy Morton of Charlotte, David Morton of Lancaster and Katie McConnell of Columbia; and his sisters, Danette McConnell of Pineville and Sonja Jacobs of Pineville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Home - Pineville Chapel (10500 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210).
