She was predeceased by : her parents, Augusta Jackson Brown and Samuel Champ Monroe; her niece Patricia Jackson; and her great-nephew Rakeem Davis. She is survived by : her siblings, Thomas Brown (Brenda), Hezekiah Brown Both (Sarah) and Brozelia Brown; her niece Barbara of Washington; her close friend Gary McClellan; and her adoptive daughter Tasha Savedge. She is also survived by cousin, niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
