He was predeceased by: his parents, Armond Pearson Compton, Sr. and Betty Owens Compton. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Kimbrough Compton; his children, Armond Pearson Compton, III, Amanda Beavers (Shawn) and Scott Pugh (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Amanda Orr (Christian), Adam Compton (Savannah), Aaron Compton (Holland), Hannah Fisher (Jamin), Taylor Hawkins and Jessica Simmons (Tristin); his great grandchildren, Brycen Hawkins, Aiden Simmons, Carter Simmons and Ensley Hawkins; his brother Terry Lee Compton (Nancy); and his sibling's children, Luke Compton (Michelle), Zack Compton (Jamie) and Becky Malone.
