He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Howard and Lois Howard; and his wife Amelia Cotis Howard. He is survived by: his children, Michael Shane Howard, Melissa Renee Howard and Pamela Lynn Myers (Scott); his grandchildren, Amelia Nichole Howard, Adam Howard, Andrew Howard, Steven Smith, Kenya Smith, Brandon Dau, Samantha Dau and Alexis Myers; his great grandchildren, Luke Howard, Jordyn Williams and Jerell Williams; and his siblings, Jewell Pope and Thomas Howard (Jane).
