He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Alice Pankey and Jack Amos O'Neal Sr. of Hartsville, SC.; his siblings, Mary Ellen, Louise, Hellon, Jack Jr., Johnny and Leukemia; and his son-in-law Jeff Oswalt.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Frances Cook of Leesville, SC; his children, Debra O. Oswalt, Karen O. Boatwright (Tommy), Dean O'Neal and Whit O'Neal (Lisa); and his siblings, J. D. O'Neal, Matthew, Peggy Lewis, Penny, Alice, Teresa, Arley and Larry. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and his beloved dog.
