He is survived by: his children, Bodie Poole (Cindy), Diane Gay, Dennis Burgess, Michael Burgess (Candy), Dee Burgess Boatwright (Lonnie) and Donna Burgess Duncan; his brother J. H. Poole; and his friend Fel McCarty. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren with two soon-to-be great grandchildren.
