He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Palmer and Pat Goodman Palmer; his granddaughter Mary Katherine Boineau; and his siblings, Joseph Palmer, Randall Brayboy, Kim Golden and Shay Brayboy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Palmer; his daughters, Joann Palmer Willard (Roger Wayne) and Mary Ellen Cobb (Jeremy); his stepchildren, Patricia, Clyde, Debbie and Katie; and his grandchildren, Devin Graham Davis and Hannah Marie Boineau.
