He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy June Briggs Strickland. He is survived by: his parents, William Strickland and Thelma Cone Strickland; his daughters, Shandra Brannon (Jay) and Dorothy Team; his siblings, Miriam Roberts and Frank Strickland (Kay); and his grandchildren, Dani and Gabi.
