She was predeceased by: her parents, Brice Hall and Myrtie Oswalt Smith; her husband Edward Smith; her siblings, J. B., Brenton, Truitt, Clifton Hall and Carrilou Spurlock; and her half-brother Gene Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Smith (Joann), Wayne Smith (René) and Cathy Smith (Butch); her siblings, Ralph Hall and Earlene Swygert; her half-siblings, George Smith and Mary Jane Palmer; and her grandsons, Jamie Smith (Jenny), Neil Smith (Lisa), Justin Smith (Leslie) and Derek Smith (Carrie). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Leesville or Compassionate Care Hospice.
