He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Emanuel Shealy Sr. and Mamye Chicola Swygert Shealy; and his siblings, Wilbur, Hilton, Todd, Velma, Frances, Julia and Rebecca.
He is survived by: his wife Lynette Keisler Shealy; his children, Cindy Shealy and Mickey Shealy (Sara); his granddaughter Janet Shirah (Johnny); his great grandchildren, Troy E. Wood, III, Meredith Shirah and AzaLeigh Shirah; and his great great grandchild Naveon.
