It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Leona Shumpert (Leesville, South Carolina), who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Baughman and Jessie Baughman; her husband George B. "Doc" Shumpert; and her brothers, Harold and Donald Ray "Sonny" Baughman.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Leopard (Dale), Stacy Shumpert (Trish) and Tim Shumpert (Aimee); her grandchildren, Diana Richardson (Craig), Jason Massey (Erin), Samuel, Megan Shumpert, Rebecca, Daniel and Brian Shumpert; her great grandchildren, Avrie, Caleb Richardson and Jameson Massey; and her sister Janie Ruth Smith.
