She was predeceased by : her husband Marvin Emiel Berrie, Sr. (S. Navy) of Aiken, SC; her parents, James Franklin Byrley and Ella Everhart Byrley; her son Marvin Emiel Berrie, Jr.; and her sister Ethel Morris Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Memorial Baptist Church, 3100 Vaucluse Road, Aiken, SC.
