He was predeceased by: his parents, Tracy C. Gunter, Sr and Nettie Lee Simons Gunter; his daughter Angela Gunter; his brothers, Phillip G. and Robert Gunter; and his daughter-in-law Molly Gunter.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Williams Gunter; his children, Dedra Rush (Macky), Paula Gunter Hooper (Kemp) and Rocky Gunter; his siblings, Tracy C. Gunter, Jr (Wynette) and Joann G Broome; his brother-in-law Miller Williams (Pam); his grandchildren, Cody Gunter (Lindsey), Matt Rush (Megan), Colton Bedenbaugh (Carson), Kayla Rush, Rivers, Hope Rush, Mason Gunter, Emilee, Alexander and Sully Hooper; and his great grandchildren, Angela Camden, Paul Coleman Gunter, Hadley Rush and Holden Bedenbaugh.
