Whisenant and Robert Shane Whisenant (Sherry); his stepchildren, Deborah Warner (John) and Ralph "Joe" Edmonds (Wanda); his siblings, Bryant Whisenant (Hanna) of Oceana, WV, David Whisenant (Jean) of Mechanicsburg, VA, Anna Faye Jarrett of Charleston, WV and Mary Caldararo of Elkin, NC; his grandchildren, Chad, Jamie, David, Ashley and Rachel; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Allyson, Thayden and Emma.
