He is survived by: his father Isaac Tom Thompson; his wife Robbin Ann Ward Thompson; his children, Ashley Thompson, Stephanie Thompson (Kayla), Robert A. Delp, Jr. (Valerie Dixon), Willie McCormick (Torri) and John McCormick; his siblings, Larry Thompson (Annette) and Carmen Wages (Lonnie Wages); and his sister-in-law Robin Thompson (Frankie Thompson). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
