Virginia Chapman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2019, at the age of 81, Virginia Chapman (Leesville, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Berley Oliver Kitchens and Jessie Mae Graham Kitchens; and her brother Oliver Kitchens. She is survived by: her children, Debra Mitchell (Tim Mitchell), John Chapman (Chrissie Miller) and Rhonda Owens (Kenneth McDaniel); her grandchildren, Christina Cody (Brian Cody), Jessica Spell (David Spell) and John M. Chapman (Jack Fagan); her siblings, Thomas Kitchens (Irma), Brenda Blalock and Eunice Raines (Eddie); and her sister-in-law Margaret Kitchens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and numerous close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Marks Lutheran Church (3178 Denny Hwy. Prosperity, SC 29127) or sent to the attention of Debra Mitchell (723 Bailey Rd. Union, SC 29379) for a Virginia K. Chapman Memorial Nursing Scholarship.
