She was predeceased by: her parents, Heyward Lancaster and Vermelle Gibbons; her spouse C. B. Rodgers, Jr.; and her brother Ralph "Buddy" Lancaster. She is survived by: her children, Chris Rodgers, Mike Rodgers (GiGi), Kathy Risinger (Ray) and Suzanne Strickland (Eddie).

Memorials may be given to Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church or to the Alzheimer's Association.
