He was predeceased by: his parent Clyde Angus Dyson. He is survived by: his parent Geraldine Ormsby Dyson; and his siblings, Mark Dyson (Robin), Gerald Dyson (Hope), Jennifer Guthrie (Jimmy) and Rachel Stafford (Bobby). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
