We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2022, at the age of 60, Betty Jean Broome of Lexington, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Gerald Eugene Shobert; and her sister-in-law Alice Shobert. She is survived by: her spouse Boyce "Carl" Broome; her son Chris Broome (Nikki); her grandchildren, Parker and Avery; and her siblings, Chuck Shobert, Sylvia Nates (Allen) and Andy Shobert (Jennifer). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
