He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Abbott Cantrell Brown and Robert Lee Cantrell; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Reece Cantrell. He is survived by: his stepfather Bill Brown; his wife Mary Elizabeth Gandy Cantrell; his sons, Brown Cantrell, Timothy Cantrell (Donna) and Myron Cantrell (Andrea); and his grandchildren, Joshua Cantrell (Charlotte), Amanda Hook (Bradley), Benjamin Cantrell (Maegan), Blake Cantrell (McKensey) and Kendell Stoudemire (Ryan). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
