He is survived by: his wife Sheila McCarthy MacGirr of Lexington; his children, Angie Parcheta (Tim) of Lexington, Scott MacGirr (Rachelle) of Grand Haven, MI, Heidi Lynch High (William) and Amy Asnip (Michael) of Marathon, FL; and his siblings, Daniel MacGirr, Gayla Collard and Eleanor Nordbeck. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
