It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Simpson of Lexington, South Carolina, born in Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Lipscomb and Claudia Raye Lipscomb; and her brother Michael Ray Lipscomb. She is survived by: her children, Callie Raye Simpson, Michael James Simpson, Bryan Simpson of Lexington, SC, Shera Denise Simpson of Costa Rica and Lesley Simpson of Lexington, SC.; her sister Brenda Carol Lipscomb of Columbia, SC.; her sibling's children, Jason Paul Lipscomb (Shara) of Greenville, SC, Stephen Earl Lipscomb, Jr. of Columbia, SC, Lance Elliott Lipscomb (Amanda) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Hunter Walker Lipscomb of Columbia, SC and Tracey Lipscomb Amour of Gaffney, SC; and her great-nephews, Tyler Paul Lipscomb, Trevor Scott Lipscomb of Greenville, SC and Walker McGraw Lipscomb of Mt. Pleasant, SC. She is also survived by many aunts and cousins.
