He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vinetta M. Glenn Dooley; his children, LeAnn Faulkner (Toby) of Gilbert, Carl Dooley (Donna) of Lexington and Brent Dooley (Cathy) of Lexington; and his sisters, Melba Taylor, Ozelia Shull, Linda Miller and Annette Bickley.

In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to St. David Lutheran Church, for the Boy Scout Troop 340 and The Athletic Committee.
