It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Mae Wooten of Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Williams and Ruth Williams; her husband Elree Jesse Wooten (Ree); her siblings, Carl Williams, Jewel Martin and Vivian Pounds; her granddaughter Angie Gable Brown; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Wooten.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Wooten of Gilbert, Gale Gable (William) of Lexington and Roger Wooten (Tracey) of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Greg Craps (Laurie), Chad Craps (Kristin), Brian Wooten (Shannon), Heather McNatt (Phil), Chad Wooten, Brenda Shultz (Steve), Justin Wooten (Blair) and Corinne Wooten.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Senior Ministry of Red Bank Baptist Church, 120 Community Dr., Lexington, SC, 29073.
