It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Wallace Blount (Lexington, South Carolina), who passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Wallace and Kate Hedrick Wallace; and her husband William H. Blount, Jr. of Pompano Beach, Florida.. She is survived by: her children, Jean, Dottie Blount, Judy, Donnie Humphries, Barbara and Danny Pierce; her grandchildren, Kate, Ben Davidson, Sara and Trevor Holt; her great grandchild Wyatt Davidson; her sister Kathryn Wallace Salley; and her caregivers, Lorene, Tonja, Robbie and Beth. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice or to St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Columbia, South Carolina.
