She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; her sister Naomi Coleman; and her daughter-in-law Julia Floyd Parler. She is survived by: her children, John Russell Parler (Robin Vaughan-Parler), David Wayne Parler and Judy Parler Randall (Carey Woodson Randall, II) of Lexington, SC.; her grandchildren, Shannon Boatwright (Brad), Madison Rogers (Jason), Chelsea Parler, Jamie Randall, Coleman Parler and Grayson Parler; and her great grandchildren, Mina Shull, Sawyer Shull, Ralla Rogers, Lila Rogers, Lorelei Randall and Julianna Randall. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SC Muscular Dystrophy Association or Lexington Presbyterian Church.
