She was predeceased by: her husband Junior Lee Mitchell; and her siblings, Gertrude Combs, Beula Brook, Alvin Garrett, Ralph Eugene Garrett, Bobby Allen Garrett and George Sherman Garrett.
She is survived by: her son Larry Allen Mitchell of Columbia; her sisters, Helen Arnold of Providence, Shirley Tatum (Neville) of Stone Mountain, Betty Strickland of Lutherville and Thelma Icenhour of Douglasville; and also Mary Christina Dillard of Columbia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
