With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gaither A. Champion Jr. of Lexington, South Carolina, born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaither A. Champion, Sr. and Mary Beasley Champion; and his sisters, Ann Williams and Sue Woodard. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wheeler Champion; his children, Gaither Allen Champion, III (Terri) and Deborah Champion Cousins (Luther); his grandchildren, Kristina and Dylan Champion; his sister Linda Champion Williams; and his nephew Jeff Dunham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
