He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Sadler and Mattie Sadler; his wife Eleanor "Sparky" Sadler; and his brothers, Tommy Sadler and Felix Sadler.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Sadler (CJ) of Hilliard, FL and Nell Taylor of Lexington, SC; and his grandchildren, Eric Taylor (Amanda), Toby Taylor (Krystal), Jeff Taylor (Emilia), Andy Taylor (Selena), Ryan Sadler (Rachel) and Logan Sadler. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
