He was predeceased by: his mother Emma Gaston; and his grandchildren, Matthew and Sophie Goodman. He is survived by: his wife Marie M. Ramsey; his children, Susan Goodman (Scott) and Johnny Ramsey Jr. (Laina); his grandchildren, Kalie Goodman, Kristi Goodman, Savanah Goodman, Lindsey Ramsey and Brennan Ramsey; and his sister Debbie Barnwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
