She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward A. Davis and Margaret M. Davis; her husband Horace L. "Matt" Matthews; her stepson H. Edward "Matt" Matthews; her brother Thomas E.; and her sister-in-law Joyce J. Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Roy A. Hunt (Miriam) and Glenda L. Fesperman; her sister Sharon Davis Fulks; her granddaughters, Jennifer L. Johnson (Jeffrey) and Jessica McCready (Charlie); her great grandchildren, Bryson and Billie Johnson; and her granddaughter Sallie McCready. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel (609 Northwood Rd, Lexington, SC 29072).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Robinhood Road Baptist Church.
