She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Martin Smith and Letha Craps; and her husband Joel D. Spires, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Mark Rodgers (Macy); her grandsons, Parker and Logan Rodgers; her brother Carroll Smith; her nephew Brandon; and her stepchildren, Elaine Seay, Donna Trotter, Rhonda Kneece, Joel Spires Jr. and Tonya Bryson. She is also survived by 14 step-grandchildren and 14 step-great grandchildren.
