It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin Foley Brown (Lexington, South Carolina), born in Aiken, South Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Miriam Cromer Brown; his parents, Phillip A. Brown and Carrie Foley Brown; his brother Roland Brown; his son Lewis Brown; his daughter-in-law Rachel Rhodes Brown; and his granddaughter Erika Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Angela B. Willis (Steve) of Monetta, Nathan Brown (Barbara) of Cayce, Jeffrey Brown (Tram) of Aiken and Anthony Brown (Cathy) of West Columbia; his daughter-in-law Hattie E. Brown of Saint Matthews; and his sister-in-law Grace W. Brown. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made in memory of Martin Foley Brown to either First Baptist Church, West Columbia, or to the charity of one's choice.
