He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ansel and Rosella Dykes Dangerfield; and his brother John P. Dangerfield. He is survived by: his wife Frances; his grandchildren, Lauren, Corey, Lindsey and Dick; and his great grandchildren, Kelsie, Kane Walrath, Piper, Wilder Dangerfield, Annabelle and Amelia Speake.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
